Finally, after a long wait, the two-factor authentication is released by Tastyworks. Two-factor authentication is a security process where users provide two different authentication factors to verify themselves. Two-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security to the authentication process by making it harder for attackers to gain access to a person's devices or online accounts because knowing the victim's password alone is not enough to pass the authentication check.
When I logged into Tastyworks on 14-April, a window popped up and informed me that Tastyworks was offering two-factor authentication. It asked me to verify the mobile phone number that I entered during account opening years ago.
Since I am still using the same number and want to complete the process, I pressed "Confirm This Number" button.
The application asked me again if I would like to enable two-factor authentication after confirming phone number. I pressed "Enable" button.
The window changed to verify phone number. The application was sending verification code to my mobile phone via SMS.
I entered the six digit verification code into the menu. Pressed "Verify Code".
Now it is done. Very simple.
